358 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Guitar Strings"

This is a short bassline sequence, played with plectrum on a classica (nylon string) guitar. The sound was slightly muted using the hand to damp it. I used this sound for coursera course "audio processing for music applications". .

This is a recording of an low open e string on an acoustic guitar that has been paulstretched. I think it sounds really cool.

This is a single guitar string plucked with a pick directly at the headstock, that means between the tuners and the nut. There the string is very short and tight, resulting in a high, almost piano-like tone. Also, since there is no sound box, the tone is rather quiet. I used this for a sampler and i liked the sound of it. This is the raw recording. If you want to use it in a sampler too, i recommend adding some eq, reverb and maybe some delay. It is not perfectly in tune though, the closest note is a#. You might tweak the tuning a little bit when using it in combination with other tuned instruments. Microphone: akg perception 120post-processing: none.

I was cleaning my guitar stings and a natural shriek occurred. This was it!. Recorded with a rode nt1-a into an edirol ua-25.

This is a simple slide over the whole fretboard of my electric guitar, starting at e on the low e-string.

Another way of missusing a guitar, detuning, flageolet, recording in various speed on analogue tape, playing backwards, mixing it all together.

F#2 played on the lowest string (e) of an acoustic guitar with an hammer-on technique on the left hand and with a mediator for the right hand. Recorded with a zoom h2n.

Dark analogue synthy sound created by a low tuned electric guitar, plucking an open low 'c' string. Effects used is a combination of a zoom bass multi fx pedal and a boss dd20 delay pedal. Recorded direct to a tascam digital recorder.
